“Roll Up Your Sleeves” Campaign
Volunteering not only benefits your kids, it helps the entire class, the whole school, and the community at large by giving students positive interaction, support, and encouragement.
Whether your kids are toddlers or high school seniors, there are many opportunities to volunteer at Forevermore.
What Are the Benefits of Getting Involved?
Getting involved is a great way to show your kids that you take an interest in their experiences. It also sends a positive message that you consider volunteering a worthwhile cause.
Not everyone is suited for the same type of involvement, but you never know unless you give it a try!
Here are some ideas for few areas a parent volunteer can help:
backstage at performances
ushering at performances
costume alterations and repairs
studio maintenance issues: changing lightbulbs, painting, etc
misc administrative tasks and projects
At the front desk we have a wishlist of projects that we’d be excited to discuss with anyone interested in Volunteering, Donating, Trading, or Bartering their services for.
Interested? Click here to sign up!
We are also kicking off the program with a Spring Cleaning Project involving organizing old costumes and props. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are available to donate a few hours of your time next week, Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30-8:30pm.

A Note About Skills Testing…
This month is an EXCITING MONTH as we have been spending some of our class time testing our dancers on all that they have learned this year in our Graded Levels of Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
Testing Month is something the students and teachers look forward to all year. Dancers attend classes as usual, but instead of doing all of their skills and combinations as a large group, they will take turns doing them in smaller groups or one at a time. All progress will be noted on each student's Testing Record in the following way:
1 - Emerging Skill
2 - Developing Skill
3 - Mastered Skill
We will continue to note student progress through our June Recital and will send fall class placements home later this spring.
Individual placement decisions are made based upon a variety of factors including skill testing, dress code, attitude, and attendance. Teachers also work hard to make sure that all individual placements lead to classroom groupings that will work well together in the coming season.
Please note that most dancers will spend two or three years in a level before mastering all of the skills necessary for the next level. (Please also note we do not have 12 levels of Ballet that match the corresponding school grades, and some students will progress through the curriculum at a different pace.) We encourage all dancers to give their best work between now and the end of the year, but a conversation from parents to help manage expectations goes a long way towards a positive placement in the spring regardless of what level they are placed in for the fall :)

Call for Recital Volunteers
Forevermore relies on the assistance of many dedicated volunteers to provide a high-quality performance experience for your children! We encourage families to become involved with our volunteer program and greatly appreciate your help.
CLASS PARENTS: Ensure that children are safe and accounted for when not onstage. Check for proper attire and escort children to and from the stage for their performances.
FRONT OF HOUSE: Assist with selling tickets and concessions and/or usher: checking tickets, distribute programs, open doors for intermission.
Forms will be accepted until April 30, as we would like to place as many volunteers as possible before regular ticket sales begin! All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
Thank you for your involvement with your child at Forevermore!
Man Dance 2019
The Man Dance is a special dance in our Year-End Recital. The adults will perform a choreographed piece and the kids will join in towards the end. It’s always a favorite for performers and the audience!
