COVID-19 Updates

All classes through the end of our 2019-2020 school year season are taught live via Zoom teleconferencing software. The last day of classes is Saturday, June 13.

Our facility is closed to the community.

We will transition to yellow - "Operating with Modifications" - for our Red Carpet Recital Week June 14 - June 20, 2020. One family at a time (up to 4 people who live in the same household) may come in for their scheduled performance time.

We will also transition to yellow - "Operating with Modifications" - for our summer 4-week class session (July)

Red Carpet Recital Experience

Our Red Carpet Recital Experience will serve one family at a time and give dancers the opportunity to showcase their recital routines in a safe, solo performance setting.

Only one household at a time is allowed into the building. Please wait until we invite your dancer into the lobby from the main entrance. We are keeping a maximum of 10 people present for the Red Carpet Recital Experience - please limit your attendees to 4 (including the performer).

Our staff will maintain safe social distancing from our students and each other. Masks for staff are not required. Disinfecting between each family and nightly cleaning protocols will be in place.

Summer Classes

We are excited to be back to in-person classes for our summer session beginning July 6! Modifications in class capacity and curriculum material have been made with great care to ensure a safe return to in-person classes, with options for families to continue dancing at home. All of this is contingent upon Illinois reaching stage 3 of reopening.

  • Lobby closed to visitors (anyone not enrolled in a class and coming to or leaving class)
  • Boutique open by appointment only (one family at a time)
  • Classes shortened by 5 minutes to allow disinfecting, hand hygiene, and social distancing in-class transitions
  • Classes available in-person or online (live via Zoom) - families can choose their preferred delivery of classes
  • No shared props that cannot be easily and thoroughly disinfected after each use
  • No food consumed in the building (water bottles only)
  • Water fountains disconnected
  • Additional cleaning and disinfecting between classes and daily
  • Classes with enrollment greater than the suggested capacity (for social distancing or capacity given by state or local health authorities) will have students rotate and take the class online for one or two of the four weeks
  • Added hand sanitizer stations at each entrance, required hand hygiene at the entry to the building for all students and staff
  • Students and staff are required to stay home if they show any flu-like symptoms, a fever of 100.4 or greater, or if they have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. There is no negative consequence for students or staff staying home for these reasons.

No Dance Camps 2020-2021
