Do You Love to Perform?

From the recreational dancer to the pre-professional student, Forevermore Dance & Theatre Arts has a Performing Group for every level of interest and commitment. If you love to perform, we have a Performing Group for you! Examples of performance opportunities include school events, local nursing homes, children’s hospital, Navy Pier’s Winter Wonderfest, Brookfield Zoo’s Holiday Magic, Dance the World at Disney World, Great America’s Dance Fest, neighborhood festivals and more! Some groups also participate in regional competitions and conventions.

Imagine yourself growing in confidence and competence through summer camps, rehearsals, community performances, and more! You will perfect skills, become more flexible, improve your technique, and grow as an artist each week- all under the mentorship of positive role models. Additionally, Performance Group members have a high success rate with auditions for high school dance teams, show choir, theatre and pageants as well as choice college programs and scholarships.

But Performing Groups at Forevermore are “More Than Just Great Dancing!” Older dancers mentor younger dancers, and all participants are part of a team of friends where everyone strives to be the best they can be. Community service is a key component of involvement and all members have an opportunity to give back to our community in a meaningful way.

Discover your love of performance with Forevermore!

More about Dance Ensemble:

Forevermore’s award winning Dance Ensemble is a special program designed for dancers who love to perform and who desire a more intense level of training. Dance Ensemble is not just dance education; it’s total education.

Dance Ensemble consists of:

Forever Friends (non-competitive team)

Ensemble Kids!

Junior Dance Ensemble (JDE)

Apprentice Dance Ensemble (ADE)

Senior Dance Ensemble (SDE)

Placement is based on a combination of classroom skills testing, performance experience, and student interest.  The number of ensembles offered is based on the number and skill level of the dancers.  The directors are looking for showmanship, passion, technical ability and potential for development.  Placement is made based on a dancer’s strengths and the overall best interest of the group.
