Forevermore’s Dance Ensemble Members
Adamari Hernandez is a second year Ensemble member on the Junior team. Training in dance for eight years has helped her with her extension and turns. She is very proud of receiving her five year award from Forevermore and for the group awards she received at competition while being on Ensemble. She enjoys being on the team because she has made such great friends. She enjoys competing and learning new choreography. Adamari remembers when she joined Forevermore at four years old and cried for the first month of ballet class because she did not want to do it-now she can’t live without
Another top notch Senior Ensemble member, Alexandria Wenzel has been dancing for six years and has been on the team for three. She is proud of how far she has come in her dance training and of her five year award from Forevermore. Dance gives Alex a space to be herself. She greatly enjoys tap and jazz. Alex enjoys being on the team with her friends and performing in new places. Alex will perform in her first solo this year for the Winter Showcase and at competition.
Alyssa Damery is excited to be a new addition to the Ensemble family this year. She has been dancing for five years and had recently transferred to Chicago from Florida. She is proud of the improvements she has made in her training throughout the years and for her award for being the fiercest in competition. Alyssa loves to dance because it makes her happy. In her down time she enjoys to braid hair.
Amaya De Jesus is a Senior Company member of Forevermore’s Dance Ensemble. This is Amaya’s second year in Ensemble and fourth year dancing. Her love of dance comes from her ability to express emotion through movement. Amaya debuted in her first solo last year, Cheap Thrills, which received 3rd place in competition. Aside from dance she also runs her own baking business, @sweetcheecksandtreats that she launched when she was twelve. She is currently choreographing her first piece under Forevermore’s Student Choreographic Project which will debut at Forevermore’s Winter Showcase.
Aniela Meza is in her first year on Ensemble though she has been dancing for five years. Alongside dancing she is also in a band and maintains B honor roll at school which she has received a medal for. She also has a pet that is a TMNT. Aniela loves dancing because she gets to show off her personality and have fun.
Aniela Rivera is a 2nd year company member on the Junior team. She enjoys being on the team because it challenges her outside of her technique classes. Aniela has won several dance scholarships including the Bella Moxi scholarship and the One Family Scholarship. Aniela has been dancing since we was two years old. As a child she never crawled instead she went into her center splits and scooted herself around. Aniela will be debuting in her first solo this season at the Winter Showcase.
Bernadette Martensen is a new member to Ensemble this year. She has been very diligent in her technique classes which has aided her in accomplishing her double turns, scorpion and advancing quickly in ballet. She dances to relieve her stress and now is excited to compete in dance. Along with dance she is able to keep her honor roll status at school.
Daniela Martinez is a seasoned company member in her third year. She has been dancing for six years which has helped improve her splits and grand jetes. Daniela is very proud of being a big sister and for receiving a ruby and silver for her solo Can’t Stop Dancing last season during competition. She enjoys working alongside her teammates and expressing herself through choreography.
Evelyz Mesa is in her second year in Ensemble on the Jazz Kids Team. She is very proud of her dance training as it allows her to do a double pirouette, jump high, touch her toes and have a better back attitude. Learning new dances is what is most exciting for her. Along with receiving a trophy for the Power Of Dance Competition she also scored a 4.2 on her NWEA test.
Gemma O’Meara is in her third year with the Forevermore Dance Ensemble and seventh year dancing. Along with being an exceptional team member she is also on the honor roll at school. Last year her Forever Friends team received a Ruby at competition for their piece Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. She is very proud of receiving the Best Team Leader award last year. Gemma enjoys dancing because it is unique.
Jaclyn Graham is a Senior company member that has moved up the ranks for 4 years. Her eight years of dance technique has won Jaclyn first place for her first solo at competition last year, Hedwing’s Theme, as well as third place for her duet, Sweet Dreams, and a judges award. She loves to express herself through dance and enjoys Ensemble due to her many friends on the team. She will be competing this season in a Modern solo as well as a trio and several group dances.
Jalen Yen is a proud Senior company member of Forevermore’s Dance Ensemble. She received her five year award last year from Forevermore and has been in the company for three years. Jalen enjoys being on the team because she gets to travel and perform with her team mates and enjoys all the different people she meets along the way. Even through injuries Jalen has become a successful dancer. She will debut in her first solo this season based upon Disney’s Mulan.
Katarina Girtoescu has been dancing at Forevermore for three years and is excited to be in her first season with the Dance Ensemble. She enjoys the challenges being on a dance team brings and has noticed that she has become a better team player. She loves having fun dancing and is proud of her pirouette and flexibility improvements.
Lesley Trinidad has been dancing at Forevermore for four years and has been enjoying her first year on the Jazz Kids team. She is a self starter and learner having her friends teach her gymnastics and finally being able to do a cart wheel. Along with being a gifted dancer she has received two medals for running. She enjoys her new team mates and leaning new dances.
Linnette Velez is a Junior company member that has really made the company feel like her second home for the past two years. Along with being in dance for seven years Linnette has also made Honor Roll in school, won first place in several swim meets and passed all of her belts in Tae Kwon Do. She is most proud of always staying true to herself and all the growth she has seen in her dancing. Dance makes her feel alive and free. She considers the Ensemble members her family and Forevermore her home.
Madelyn Pellegrino is our most seasoned company member having been with the Dance Ensemble for seven years. This Senior company member also holds a position in the Forevermore Teacher’s Assistant program. Since dancing at Forevermore for 11 years she has received her 10 year award at Forevermore and 4th and 5th place last year for her solos performed at competition. Last year she received a gold star for her science fair project that featured a pointe shoe ribbon clip, that she felt is needed for her own pointe shoes. She is most known at competitions for completely owning the stage as she received that very award last year from the judges.
This is Michelle Sapeta’s first year in Ensemble and fourth year dancing. She is proud to have been invited and accepted to the Junior team. Along with dance she also is a member of a cheerleading team who won 2nd place in their competition last year. Michelle greatly enjoys being on the team.
A returning company member, Molly Brown is in her third year being in Ensemble. She is an avid beach goer and trampoline jumper. She is very proud for being a straight A student and learning to surf in the ocean. Molly received the Most Improved award last year. She enjoys being on stage and performing with her friends. She loves everything about dance!
Natalie Janisch is celebrating her second year in Ensemble and seventh year dancing. She is proud of her flexibility and achieving her right and left splits. She loves to dance because it’s a great way to exercise and Ensemble is a great place to make friends. Along with being an accomplished team member is also an A student and in a reading program.
Sabrina Maiato is a new member of Ensemble this year. After dancing for 5 years she is proud to have made the Ensemble team. Along with being a hard working dancer she also gets straight A’s at school and has completed her very difficult fifty question math test. She has won trophies for basketball and loves to stay active with dance. Sabrina enjoys the challenges of being on Ensemble and performing all year long.
Violet Korzatkowski is a multidisciplinary dancer. She is a returning Ensemble member on the Junior team. Violet loves to dance because she likes dancing with her mom, studio owner and company director Kerrie Korzatkowski, and her friends. She enjoys how you can show your emotion through only one step. Last competition season she received a platinum award, the highest award, for her solos Blue Bird and Something Wild. Violet will again be performing two solos this competition season and at the Winter Showcase.
Zuzana Bielak is a proud Ensemble member on the Junior team. She has been dancing for eights years and was very proud when she received her five year award from Forevermore. Along with being an exceptional dancer she has maintained straight A’s since the first grade and has been featured in An American Girl book Styling Spaces. Last summer she cut thirteen inches off her hair and donated it to Wigs For Kids. Zuzana enjoys dancing on the team because it inspires her and is her way of expressing herself.
