Who We Are

Forevermore Dance & Theatre Arts is a dance, theatre, and music education studio on Chicago’s Northwest Side, serving families for 23 seasons. We teach Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Acro, Acting, Musical Theatre, and Music to students from preschool through the teen years.

Our Philosophy

Our motto is More Than Just Great Dancing — we believe the arts should teach great artistic skills and even greater life skills. As our founder puts it: “We don’t train students to create great artists, we train in the arts to create great kids.”

We believe an arts education does more than build technique — it shapes how a child experiences the world for the rest of their life, long after any single recital or season has ended.

At Forevermore, structure and joy are not opposites. We hold both at once: precise, disciplined training delivered in an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun. Our teachers are trained in curriculum literacy — they understand not just what to teach in a given class, but why that sequence matters for a student’s growth, so every class builds deliberately toward real skill.

Alongside technique, students grow in eight core character traits: commitment, forgiveness, honesty, humility, kindness, patience, respect, and helpfulness — woven into the culture of every class rather than taught as a separate lesson. Safety is part of how we operate at every level too: age-appropriate choreography, music, and costuming; trained staff; and facilities built with dancers in mind, including sprung floors in several studios to help prevent injury.

Our History

Forevermore Dance & Theatre Arts began in June 2004, replacing the Elmwood School of Dance in Elmwood Park. In January 2007, we moved to our current home at 7466 W Belmont Ave in Chicago, where we’ve grown into a studio with multiple classrooms, viewing windows for parents, and spacious waiting areas for families.

Who Forevermore Is For

Forevermore is for the child who dreams of the professional stage, and just as much for the child who simply wants a joyful, structured place to grow. Many of our families stay with us for five, ten, or more years and across multiple children — Forevermore becomes part of their community, not just their weekly schedule.

Our Commitment to Families

We communicate closely and consistently, so parents always know how their child is progressing. As one parent put it: it takes a village to raise a child, and Forevermore has had a real hand in raising theirs.

We give our students opportunities to perform and build self-confidence.

Forevermore Dance & Theatre Arts provides Dance Classes, Acting & Music Lessons, as well as Performance Opportunities for All Ages. We are located in the NorthWest side of Chicago, IL.
